(CEP News) Frankfurt - Construction output in the euro zone fell 2.4% in June on an annualized basis, down from the 1.6% decline seen in the previous month. May's yearly fall was revised down from an initial figure of -1.1%

Among the states for which there are data, Slovenia saw the strongest increases in output, with production growing 14.9% in June. Conversely, Spain led the way in declines, with contraction output falling 15.9% in the country.

In monthly terms, construction output dipped 0.6% after rising 0.1% in May, which was revised down from a 0.2% gain.
